I loved Alexandra don’t get me wrong. He’s dark and mysterious, but I feel like Clara was too much. she was too willing and didn’t really fight for herself. she let Alexandra lead without questions. the story line didn’t flow, and some sentences didn’t make sense. I love the idea of the story but it I’m being honest it could have been written better.

I haven’t even finished the book yet but I just had to share what this one scene meant to me. Back story: when my now-husband found out about my struggles with an eating disorder I swear his reaction was the exact same as Alexander’s. This scene was so raw for me and and truly beautiful. Well written and powerful work.

I thought the author could’ve done a better job. I thought the book was bland and dry. The girl couldn’t make up her mind, saying “yes” and “no” to the guy. The girl is so indecisive and sending so many mixed signals! The guy isn’t that interesting.

The book is a great concept, but when you read it it sounds so much like 50 Shades Of Gray it’s not even funny. Also, Clara actually gets on my nerves, she is highly indecisive with Prince Alexander that it’s frustrating. One moment, she’ll go from I need him in my life, then she wants to run through the hills scared. The more I read the more ridiculous it starts to get.

This book had me up all night. For some reason the verbiage in this book just instantly clicked with me. It totally reminds me of fifty shades series. The biggest difference with this book, however, is the characters in the story. I can't wait to read book number 2. Keep them coming Ms. Geneva, you're a goddess darling. This is my first time reading her novels and I'm in love with her body of work already. I just absolutely love he way she captures the mind of the reader, so it feels as if you're in the story alongside the characters. ❤️😀

I loved this book and especially these two characters. Alexander...haunted and broken....Clara...closed off and unaware of her strength and beauty. The clash and the harmony. You have described the kind of sexual connection between a man and a woman that all women want. Even though that connection cannot be sustained. The dialogue is incredible....fast paced and so full of feeling, the rapture and the discord. It makes it a hard book to put down. Erotic, sexually graphic, indulgence personified with characters who have no limitations.

Interesting characters, torn between convention and emotions, with more than a touch of royalty thrown in for good measure. Some interesting twists in plot, occasionally sparkling dialogue, delightful secondary characters, but the pace is uneven and the "dirty" language is overly repetitious. I really can't say if I would purchase the next book in the series based on this volume.

I read the reviews. Others loved the story and said it's better than 50 shades. After reading the book I can honestly say that it doesn't even come close. The storyline is lacking detail, depth and originality. I didn't care for the constant dismissal of the "other story" in the first few chapters. And the many similarities to 50 shades turned me off and gave this story an "amateur" feel. The fact that this came out after 50 shades is a shame. I know that many people like the story, so all I'm going to suggest is: read without expectations. It's not going to blow your mind (or anything else for that matter) but simply occupy some of your time. Enjoy.

Command Me by Geneva Lee is the first book in her Royals Saga series. A highly steamy novel about a girl and her prince. Sounds like a dirty fairytale right? Well, it kinda is and I kinda loved it. Alexander is off the charts wicked steamy sexy and Clara is a tough cookie because she has faced most of her demons and conquered them. Now if she can just help Alexander conquer his. Wonderful story, ends in a cliffy but fear not, Conquer Me is already available for your continued reading pleasure. The third book is also now available...Crown Me

Hooked by the end of the first chapter!
Hoo boy! I was intrigued from the moment I read the blurb for this book. I wanted to meet Alexander right away! Of course once I started reading, I was hooked and I didn't stop until I'd finished the book. I even ignored the growling of my stomach and skipped lunch. I did eat but much later than I'd planned to. I really wanted to know what Alexander's deal was. I was slightly taken aback by the big reveal of Clara's secret and she was treated because of it. I was aghast by the treatment she received at the hands of Alexander's family and friends. There were some very interesting reveals of the royal family dynamic too. I think Geneva Lee is brilliant. So much was revealed about both Clara, Alexander, and their demons as well as some tidbits about his family. I can't wait until the second part is available so I can find out more about what goes on in that royal family and what's keep Alexander from being the man he wants to be. Belle deserves props. She's the best friend Clara could have and I want her wardrobe. Plus I think there maybe something fishy going on with her fiance, Phillip. I do hope I'm wrong! I also sense drama with Clara's sister Lola. She seemed like a diva. Oh and there's definitely something going on between Clara's parents! I'm also hoping to find out more about Princess Sarah's death and why Alexander's family hates him so much. The book sort of ends on a cliffhanger but it's not big enough to create a furor over. I do hope we get the next part sooner than later, because I'd like to know what happens next right now! Do check out Command Me. It's hot, you'll love the characters, and it'll have you hooked by the end of the first chapter.

This storyline is stretched out just so the author can sell another book...long and boring don't bother because it doesn't have an ending and without an ending this book is horrible. Not interesting enough to make me want to buy another book.

Even though I really enjoyed this story, I rated the book w/ 4 Stars because: 1) There were a few instances where proofreading would have picked up some minor issues. This includes the section where Lola asks Alexander why he kissed her sister, but the book is written as having Clara ask the question. 2) The handwritten letters from Alexander to Clara cannot be enlarged enough w/ iBooks tools to make them readable w/out a magnifying glass or major eye strain. Although, I actually thought, as I was reading the final chapter, that an author was finally going to give the readers a brutally honest & much more likely ending to Alexander & Clara. It may not have been 'a happily ever after,' but I would certainly have approved of the reality. Otherwise, I am anxiously anticipating 'Crown Me' in February to see where the story takes us.

All that was clear was their undeniable attraction and obvious heat. Alexander has demons and predilections, but he is clear on his intentions. A tryst with an enticing woman he kissed during a party. He doesn't promise forever or romance. What he does promise is pleasure and care. It's not his first encounter, but she's new to the game. They both take a chance without a clear outcome.one thing is for sure, they'd both be hurt when it ended. It's inevitable. The book is as exciting and as enticing as the fire between Clara and Alexander. The sex is hot and their chemistry is undeniable. You have no choice but to root for Team Clara and Alexander because of all the adversities that they face. The biggest twist of this book was given at the beginning with the mysterious tall, dark and handsome stranger being the prince, but everything that follows is predictable. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't take away from how well written and developed the story it. I loved it and I can't wait for the next installment. It's like watching a suspense and you want to yell and tell them to run and turn the other way, but then you grab some more popcorn and watch as they continue. In the end we hope for happily ever after, which is why we watch, but what would we do if it never came? Great book.

I love erotic romance, but I don't do pornography. This was a really well written love story with heat and passion and characters you can fall in love with. Lee has become a favorite author and I anxiously await her next novel. This is a must read for people who like a STORY with their sex.

The biggest twist of this book was given at the beginning with the mysterious tall, dark and handsome stranger being the prince, but everything that follows is predictable. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't take away from how well written and developed the story it. I loved it and I can't wait for the next installment. It's like watching a suspense and you want to yell and tell them to run and turn the other way, but then you grab some more popcorn and watch as they continue. In the end we hope for happily ever after, which is why we watch, but what would we do if it never came? Great book.

I love erotic romance, but I don't do pornography. This was a really well written love story with heat and passion and characters you can fall in love with. Lee has become a favorite author and I anxiously await her next novel. This is a must read for people who like a STORY with their sex.

I loved Alexandra don’t get me wrong. He’s dark and mysterious, but I feel like Clara was too much. she was too willing and didn’t really fight for herself. she let Alexandra lead without questions. the story line didn’t flow, and some sentences didn’t make sense. I love the idea of the story but it I’m being honest it could have been written better.

I haven’t even finished the book yet but I just had to share what this one scene meant to me. Back story: when my now-husband found out about my struggles with an eating disorder I swear his reaction was the exact same as Alexander’s. This scene was so raw for me and and truly beautiful. Well written and powerful work.

The book is a great concept, but when you read it it sounds so much like 50 Shades Of Gray it’s not even funny. Also, Clara actually gets on my nerves, she is highly indecisive with Prince Alexander that it’s frustrating. One moment, she’ll go from I need him in my life, then she wants to run through the hills scared. The more I read the more ridiculous it starts to get.

This book had me up all night. For some reason the verbiage in this book just instantly clicked with me. It totally reminds me of fifty shades series. The biggest difference with this book, however, is the characters in the story. I can't wait to read book number 2. Keep them coming Ms. Geneva, you're a goddess darling. This is my first time reading her novels and I'm in love with her body of work already. I just absolutely love he way she captures the mind of the reader, so it feels as if you're in the story alongside the characters. ❤️😀

I loved this book and especially these two characters. Alexander...haunted and broken....Clara...closed off and unaware of her strength and beauty. The clash and the harmony. You have described the kind of sexual connection between a man and a woman that all women want. Even though that connection cannot be sustained. The dialogue is incredible....fast paced and so full of feeling, the rapture and the discord. It makes it a hard book to put down. Erotic, sexually graphic, indulgence personified with characters who have no limitations.

Definitely a "Part1"
Interesting characters, torn between convention and emotions, with more than a touch of royalty thrown in for good measure. Some interesting twists in plot, occasionally sparkling dialogue, delightful secondary characters, but the pace is uneven and the "dirty" language is overly repetitious. I really can't say if I would purchase the next book in the series based on this volume.

I read the reviews. Others loved the story and said it's better than 50 shades. After reading the book I can honestly say that it doesn't even come close. The storyline is lacking detail, depth and originality. I didn't care for the constant dismissal of the "other story" in the first few chapters. And the many similarities to 50 shades turned me off and gave this story an "amateur" feel. The fact that this came out after 50 shades is a shame. I know that many people like the story, so all I'm going to suggest is: read without expectations. It's not going to blow your mind (or anything else for that matter) but simply occupy some of your time. Enjoy.

Hooked by the end of the first chapter!
Hoo boy! I was intrigued from the moment I read the blurb for this book. I wanted to meet Alexander right away! Of course once I started reading, I was hooked and I didn't stop until I'd finished the book. I even ignored the growling of my stomach and skipped lunch. I did eat but much later than I'd planned to. I really wanted to know what Alexander's deal was. I was slightly taken aback by the big reveal of Clara's secret and she was treated because of it. I was aghast by the treatment she received at the hands of Alexander's family and friends. There were some very interesting reveals of the royal family dynamic too. I think Geneva Lee is brilliant. So much was revealed about both Clara, Alexander, and their demons as well as some tidbits about his family. I can't wait until the second part is available so I can find out more about what goes on in that royal family and what's keep Alexander from being the man he wants to be. Belle deserves props. She's the best friend Clara could have and I want her wardrobe. Plus I think there maybe something fishy going on with her fiance, Phillip. I do hope I'm wrong! I also sense drama with Clara's sister Lola. She seemed like a diva. Oh and there's definitely something going on between Clara's parents! I'm also hoping to find out more about Princess Sarah's death and why Alexander's family hates him so much. The book sort of ends on a cliffhanger but it's not big enough to create a furor over. I do hope we get the next part sooner than later, because I'd like to know what happens next right now! Do check out Command Me. It's hot, you'll love the characters, and it'll have you hooked by the end of the first chapter.

I'm declaring this better than Fifty Shades. Get this book, buy the next one, and wait anxiously for the release of the third. I've seen reviews that say this and I bought those books looking for the same feelings elicited when reading FSOG but none of them come close to this. I don't understand the great reviews. Don't waste your time. This storyline is stretched out just so the author can sell another book...long and boring don't bother because it doesn't have an ending and without an ending this book is horrible. Not interesting enough to make me want to buy another book.

Even though I really enjoyed this story, I rated the book w/ 4 Stars because: 1) There were a few instances where proofreading would have picked up some minor issues. This includes the section where Lola asks Alexander why he kissed her sister, but the book is written as having Clara ask the question. 2) The handwritten letters from Alexander to Clara cannot be enlarged enough w/ iBooks tools to make them readable w/out a magnifying glass or major eye strain. Although, I actually thought, as I was reading the final chapter, that an author was finally going to give the readers a brutally honest & much more likely ending to Alexander & Clara. It may not have been 'a happily ever after,' but I would certainly have approved of the reality. Otherwise, I am anxiously anticipating 'Crown Me' in February to see where the story takes us.
